Michelangelo Hair Academy is located in Great Brak River, offering the first professionally accredited hair academy and training facility of its kind in the Garden Route, South Africa.
Affiliated with Africa Skills College, Michelangelo Hair Academy creates a professional environment where learners can feel safe to learn in a non-critical setting.
We will uphold a strict code of conduct and abide by the code of ethics accepted in the industry. Experience has taught us that constant development of education has been at the heart of training and education success. Eager to pass on our skills and experience in the hairdressing industry, we have established our own model of teaching.
The learner will attend training at Michelangelo Hair Academy, in Great Brak River according to a pre-established curriculum and planned theoretical and practical schedule.
The learner will work four to five days per week in Short Cut Salon, conveniently located next door to the academy. Short Cut Salon will keep a record of their hours worked.
Candidates must accumulate 3900 hours of practical working hours under a qualified hair-dresser.
Monthly visits will be conducted by a Workplace Manager to ascertain compliance with the contract.
Candidates can apply for a formal Trade Test after receipt of NQF level 4 Certificate and at least 3 900 hours in the workplace.
Once qualified, candidates will have the opportunity to pursue local and international ventures in their trade.
